A Lesson in Buoyancy
Tina's a teacher, remember? She knows how to give an interesting science demonstration. Today we're learning about neutral buoyancy - what's the best way to make yourself sink? Get rid of all that pesky air in your lungs, obviously!
Dayswimming
How nice would it be to have an underwater home away from home at the bottom of a lake? Michelle sure seems to dig it - she's a science nerd, so if anybody asks, she's not blowing bubbles, she's "conducting experiments in nucleation".
Dunk and Deliver
I've had this idea turning over in my head for years, for a Nineteen-Ninety-Something story where there's some kind of charity event at the elementary school and Tina is the teacher who ends up in the dunk tank. I haven't found a place for it yet in canon, but it's still fun to think about.
