Status Update on Positioning
🕑 Added 2025-12-01 17:34:29 +0000 UTCAs you witnessed, we just got through a nasty correction in precious metals in November. As mentioned, it's going to be a bumpy ride up, which is why it's so important to manage your debt (margin) so you don't get shaken out during the downswings.
Here's where we're at with our positions:
Our core positions are gold and silver:
GLD - gold
SLV - silver
Our long-term positions are in:
BTG - gold miner
AEM - gold miner
Our shorter-term positions are:
AG - covered call (purchased on 10/27/25 for $12.33)
AG - covered call (cost basis of $11.60 started on 10/22/25)
Right now, I believe that slowly accumulating GLD, SLV, BTG, or AEM would be good.
However, my priority is to build up a cash position to take advantage of the next down-swing and buy the dip.
How are we going to build up cash until that time? Selling options on any good deals, short-term trades, any good prediction market bets, and dividends (BTG dividend being paid to record holders as of tomorrow).

Brian - long time YT follower, but just joined Patreon. How come you are ok with the ‘paper’ ETFs vs the Sprott family of physical trusts where the share are backed up by allocated gold, silver, etc?
