R17 Progress Update 3 + a survival-compatible Pack?

Hey!
In my last post I showed you round arches, holes and other weird round shapes.
This time it's getting even weirder.
I found a way to make spheres and cylinders with resource-pack features only. They are reflective and look almost perfectly round/smooth. Personally, I find this amazing and I'm quite proud of the solution. Actually I didn't think that would be possible.
BUT: I totally understand that a lot of you do not like the direction I'm going. Well, I'm still doing what I've done since the beginning: Exploring Minecraft+PTGI and trying to get the best visual results. Don't worry, I will keep doing this in the "R" packs. (R17, R18, R.... )
My Idea:
I'd like to create a separate pack, that can be used for survival gameplay.
Basically it's the continuation of R14 - it will contain all the textures that are useful in survival. (Also the old textures e.g.: enchanting table, obsidian, concrete, etc). It must be a lower resolution, obviously. It will be 256x, but I might also make a 512x HD version. Good low-resolution textures are always much better than boring but 4k textures.
The first step: Reworking R14. It contains a lot of old, experimental textures that I need to rework. For example: Grass, Dirt, etc.
In the first screenshots you can see the new grass texture I'm working on. I also reworked the sand and red_sand - I think It's a lot better now. They are created from Photos and 3D Scans that I took while traveling. I'm still not satisfied with the new dirt and gravel, I'll need to change them a bit.

- finishing R17, I plan to add a few more weird shapes (actual 3D arches instead of 2D cutouts), maybe some curved chairs idk.
- the Survival-Compatible Pack
- Reworking R14, then re-releasing it as a R1-R14 legacy-pack.
In general, what are the projects you are developing?
- The "R"-series: Multiple Packs, High Resolution. For cinematic screenshots. For people interested in 3D graphics/rendering.
- A "Survival Pack": A simple to use, base-pack for all those who just want textures for survival gameplay.
(The balls in the last image are cows.....)
So what else is new in R17 WIP 3?
- Advanced Bevels, Corners, Inner Corners, Wall Slopes, Vertical Slabs and other small things. Still not sure if these blocks are worth it, placement is still not intuitive at all.
- Raindrop Glass: Turned out really well. Actually it would be possible to animate the individual raindrops but I'm not sure how much fps this would eat. The 2048x version will get a 4k raindrop texture. I will also add pure rough glass (without drops etc) And also clear, reflective glass. All these glass panes can be placed inside the Rim created by the oak_trapdoors.
- Cylinders = Shulker Boxes (I changed all color variants because all shulker boxes use the same model, so they all need to be cylinders.)
There are different types of metal. Different types of Copper, Steal, Gold,... There are colored Metals, Rubber, Plastic, White, Shiny, Matte, ..... a lot of options to play around. - Spheres: One of them can be worn on the head (the small icon). Cows are balls. I think that's quite hilarious because they can run around and it looks like they are rolling. You can even breed them. Also different color variations. Warning: Laggy!
- Cylinder Connection Walls. Place inbetween Cylinders to connect. Not all colors.

Custom Hotbar, GUI and Menu Buttons. Going for a clean look. Feedback is appreciated.
I will also add a custom language file (just like in R14) so you can search for all blocks + have a custom name + icon.

All Im seeing different in my world is the remodeled spruce trap doors. Everything else is the default texture with heavy impact on my frames
Make a 2048x survival compatible pack please on all textures. Take your time, pls so I can enjoy survival the most!

YES for survival!! I considered trying to replace some default textures with yours manually, but ultimately didn't cuz I know it probably wouldn't work. Thank you for this. What is a rough estimation of when the survival pack will be done? Thinking days, weeks or months?
