i don't remember fool's gold much. it's rated terribly, but i think the thing that hits is the nostalgia of seeing these two together again. they certain bounced off each other so well! i'll have to re-watch fool's gold. i know it's been 10+ years since i've seen it.

Other Kate Hudson films you should watch: Almost Famous and Bride Wars. LOL I know this Patreon likes Romcoms and that's an underrated one but it's more of a "romcom" about friends... so a friendcom? Like Bridesmaids.

oh my god, if you guys are unfamiliar with Kate Hudson that means you have to watch Almost Famous. It's her most well respected role and it's such a good film if you like music. She plays Penny Lane

i'm with you guys lol there were so many moments in the film that made me cringe so bad but overall there were so many funny parts, the gay accusation during therapy had me almost crying from laughter lol

what i really love about this movie is just how much fun you can see they were having. i think that's so important to a film, a cast that is clearly enjoying what they're doing, and enjoying one another. this movie ticks those boxes and it's what makes it so enjoyable. you just know they're having a blast with it, and that makes it fun for us as an audience.

Rob and Bryce, I'm sorry you guys were struggling at times there, but it was funny to see how horrified you were at the things Andie was doing. Kate and Matthew's chemistry is fantastic. They're both so charismatic and they played off each other so well, which is why this movie a romcom classic. Hopefully someday you'll get around to seeing Kate Hudson's breakout role as Penny Lane in the superb Almost Famous; she was nominated for an Oscar because of that performance.
