First July Model! - Jeweled Dragon
🕑 Added 2019-07-02 02:40:06 +0000 UTCI wanted to start July off strong, so here's a dragon!
I think this is my best dragon head so far! I'm really pleased with this overall~ I pretty much never sculpt from scratch so it was good practice! This dude with just spheres at one point.
It is optimized for FDM and resin 3D printers. The spikes on his jaw will be the worst part for FDM, but the rest of it shouldn't be too bad :D If you print him with a 60mm base on resin, make sure to make it hollow! I like using Meshmixer for that.
The decorative base is offered separately! It is in the Jeweled Dragon folder under "New July Models". It is also placed in the "Decorative Bases" folder which can be found in the "Z_Other" folder located in "All Previous Releases".
I will be making a decorative base for the Haunted Horseman as well! Likely going to be skulls and dirt!

Hahaha definitely! You wouldn't want resin around the kiddies. It isn't extremely toxic, but still not good. Maybe you could just put it on a really high shelf? In a box? With a lock? haha

Thank you. I want a resin printer so incredibly bad, but they're highly incompatible with destructive toddlers in an apartment.

I’m also excited for the Horseman’s base. Been waiting on that to print him. Would you consider adding a pumpkin or two along with/instead of the skulls if it isn’t too much trouble? 😊
