Honestly, I either watch asmr because I want to feel tingles, to listen in the background while I play games, for entertainment purposes, or to listen to somebody with a calming voice to just make me feel relaxed and at ease.

Depends which type. If it's tingles asmr, or it's art or experimental, then that's something I watch to get the full effect, but if it's the type to put you asleep, I watch for a little but then put my phone down. Every now and then I put that lofi type on and just put my phone playing YouTube in my pocket and let it run while I clean or fix something.
