I parsed that second word as 'tiefling' initially 😂 I don't know, it's just what they're called 🤷 I mean technically 'garter' is short for 'garter belt', so perhaps the term was once used more broadly?

Excellent titleing, 10/10! It’s always bothered me that they’re called ‘belts’, though. A belt is for holding your pants up, not your parts. (Unless this is one of those Brit vs American things?)
