The train walkway vlogging is indeed obnoxious and strange, but 95% of people that get on the subway truly do enter a strange passive state... Unlike on aus trains people arent phased by sitting next to strangers, nobody bat an eye letalone looked up at an old man loudly rambling/people sticking up what i am quite sure were vietnamese prostitute business cards/lady pacing with a huge protest sign/2 VERY loud greek tourists/officers, even the very elderly people are often Glued to their phones, passengers respect pregnant/disabled seats, carriages packed to the doors arent abnormal (whats in his vlog is average loading) and people dont scramble over each other to try fit in. The only time ive seen notable reaction on the subway was when 2 idiotic american women and their 4 suitcases crammed into a full carriage and knocked someone over. I love the seoul subway its so interesting and efficient
