Matt, your dedication to research of contemporaneous issues is astounding. I'm so impressed. Keep up the good work!

I love all your videos, Matt, but your Golden Girls and Frasier ones are always my favorite. It was great to hear more behind-the-scenes details. (I would have liked to hear more about his time on Roseanne, though.) I hope "Silver Foxes" does get picked up as a series, since it sounds like a great concept for a show (with a great writer behind it).

Great video. I was curious how he landed the job at Golden Girls since it sounded like it was his first writing gig. (Also, for people having a trouble loading the video, would clearing the cache in their browser help?)

LOVE IT!! I want more!! No pressure, but I think there needs to be a comprehensive GG documentary, and no one could do it better than you Matt!! ❤️

I figure it out. It’s their app that doesn’t work correctly. It works fine when I use the browser.

You're telling my story! Well, except for the priest coming to dinner. We were Catholic, but my dad wouldn't have been happy to see a priest at the door😅. My mom just saw what I was watching and sent me to my room. I had my own little b&w TV in my room, though. Guess she didn't think about that...

Should be working now, let me know if it's still giving you trouble!

Matt Baume

ARGH I think I've fixed it now. Patreon says there's a better video player coming this year so hopefully these little hiccups will go away soon.

Matt Baume

Ok should be working now! Sorry about that!

Can’t play it.

I’m having the same problem; hopefully a link will help. Can’t wait to watch this!

Chris Covell

I’m not able to watch yet. Tapping the link does nothing. Do you have a direct link to the vid?

Leotha Boyd

Still can't watch it

Looking forward to your take on "Soap". When I was young (5th grade?) I was watching "Soap" pretty regularly. Our parish priest came to dinner at my family's, and he told my parents that "Soap" was an "adult comedy," and that I shouldn't be watching it. So then, I had to watch it on the old black & white TV in the back of the house. Don't get me started on Catholics!
