Progress Update

We’re currently updating the game’s engine from Unity v2018 to v2019.
*This screenshot is from before we fixed the bug.
When we started moving to v2019, the trees’ size and position data were reset which made giant trees suddenly start appearing. (looks like the Erdtree, doesn’t it?)
We fixed it by retrieving the data from the 2018 version trees and making a script that applies it to the 2019 one.
Here you can see one of the features that we can now use thanks to Unity v2019, realistic building destruction using Rayfire.
It’s similar to the previous one since we’ve made a lot of progress moving to the new engine already but the key components in the simulation have been upgraded.
We apologize for how long the next update is taking, since at the moment we’re prioritizing the upgrade to Unity v2019.
We’ll share another progress report like this next month.

現在はUnityのVer2018 → 2019への移植を進めています。

2019移植直後は、木のオブジェクトの位置サイズ情報がリセットされて
巨大な木が街に出現したりしました。（エルデンリングの黄金樹みたい）
これを修正するために、2018の木の情報をサルベージして、2019版に割り当てるスクリプトを作成しています。
こちらは、2019から使えるようになったビル破壊用アセット「Rayfire」を使用した破壊シミュレーションです。
大分移植が進んだので以前と変わらない壊れ方ですが、内部的な動きは一新されています。
2019への移植アップデートが先になり、イベントの更新お待たせしてごめんなさい。
また来月、進捗報告できればと思います。

Please provide more context with the updates. As backers, we want to know what we are backing. What changes will we, as players, actually experience when the game goes from Unity 2018 to Unity 2019? Can we get a rough timeline when it will be playable? Is there a roadmap? Steam Early Access, maybe, planned? I love the game and I respect what you are doing, and I really want you to succeed, but it is difficult without communication to your dedicated backers.
