the last leg always takes the longest. i had to work on the folio at the end of the day because i needed to shake up my workflow to keep going

i went ahead and colored this study after i finished the line work. i am quite pleased with how it turned out. i'm going to keep doing master studies of Mark Shultz work and after a few more i will try doing other characters in my approximation of his style

what kind of comic

just a quick question about whether you like to read black and white comics or full color.i have this memory of being told that the west only wanted full color comics and i am curious if that is true at least with you all

studies and practices

spent today practicing with my new Arthur and arnie rig. i posed my arnie stick model to match some scans i made of Mark Schultz works and did some studies. im trying to fix some of the bad anatomy habits i have, especially with arms and hands

yesterday i took the simple stylized model and changed its proportions to fit my arnie model. applied the rig and did a simple pose test. i kept the head hands and feet from the old model .there is a slight visual difference but i think it is an overall improvement. the next step is to re-rig Arthur and Jenny this way ...

i want to get a more dramatic flair for my poses. so i did some quick practices with different types of modelsthe first image i tried three different models with the same overall pose.the first is my Arnie one. using the DAZ gen 8 as a base and sculpting in the detail. in my opinion it is the least effective base for q...
