Big-Hearted Bosko is the 2nd of 3 scans I've received back (still waiting for Jack and the Beanstalk). This film as never been restored & released by WB (or if it's restored, it has not been released). It has only ever been released on VHS and DVD by the appropriately named Bosko video company, which sadly isn&#...
Johnny Smith & Poker-Huntas Scan is back
I've received 2 out of the 3 films I had scanned back (the other is Bosko, will post an update later). Compared to the laserdisc version on the right, the 16mm has the uncropped image. Most of the laserdisc releases were significantly cropped. You can see the "quotation marks " on the blue ribbon title card...

Minnie the Moocher Restoration Update
Typically on a restoration project, I try to improve the opening credits/sequence as much as possible. This helps me develop the workflow that I will utilize for the rest of the restoration. This update took a week of work and much problem solving to begin to develop a possible workflow for this film. The major problems...
Initial Color Correction of Minnie the Moocher (1932)
I have a 35mm print of Minnie the Moocher, which I recently had a 4k scan done. It was reportedly made from a fine-grain master (though I have my doubts). Though the print itself is relatively recent (8 years-old), all the problems with the master have been captured including dust/dirt/scratches and other damage, splic...
