[v0.48] New Version
🕑 Added 2024-10-23 09:57:50 +0000 UTCHuff, this has been two rough months, and I'm a bit nervous, because this version again includes a lot of foundational changes.
You will need to create a Gain of Life account here. Then, you must connect your Patreon account to your Gain of Life account to import your subscription. From then on, your Patreon subscription should always synchronize within seconds to your Gain of Life account, so you don't have to worry about this anymore.

Changelist
The game now runs on the latest version of Ren'Py, which means that Apple Silicon Macs should be supported now, too. Most importantly, however, the game was upgraded to Python 3, which introduces many new possibilitiesβsome required for the image engine.
The game now asks you to log into your Gain of Life account and loads your membership stats. This is for testing, but it took a lot of effort to implement, especially considering RenPy's limitation for network and asynchronous tasks. The comfortable part is that you should only need to log in once - and this works across versions. Only when you switch devices you will need to log in again (obviously).
The waitress job received a few adjustments for the recently introduced stress, laziness, and gluttonous stats.

You need to go to https://app.gainoflife.net/subscriptions and add a new "connected account" on the right.

Mac OS, i tried to use different browsers and after I click allow its either white screen or communicate that I donβt have permission to see the page

That's interesting. Which operating system do you have? Maybe cancel logging in and try again?

My problem is that after creating and linking patreon account to GOL, game is just loading to login but thats all. Cant play the game :/

Hi, there are a couple of bugs I've encountered one when trying to eat something with Jessica at the gym there is a bug and when I'm about to go on the school trip to the temples there were multiple bugs

I can see that you could link your Patreon account, and the system registered access to the game. So, from the server perspective, everything seems alright. Are you talking about linking your Patreon account to your GoL account, or are you talking about linking your GoL account to the game? Could you describe in more detail what you see? (e.g., is this message in a red box in the browser on the "Gain of Life wants to:" dialog box?)

First of all, thank you so much for reporting - everyone was affected by this problem. This was a typo in the production environment's configuration. I just fixed it. You should be able to add your Patreon account now.
