Selling or donating your daughter's grown-up clothing once her new wardrobe is of sufficient size is a common recommendation in various "re-parenting" handbooks and programs. But that advice isn't always followed. Some moms think it too drastic a step, especially those who underestimate how long they'll want to enjoy this new chapter of their daughters' lives.
