Edit on 02/04/26 - Took 4 days to finish cuz I decided to do bgs myself instead of using genshin for once, and figuring out how to do night time lighting is such a pain (but so worth it). Though I hope it isnt too dark and the bgs are legible π₯Ί If it is too dark I'll adjust going forward (nothing I can do about the bgs tho, just gotta practice doing them more π₯)

Sorry is just WIP. I'm struggling with the backgrounds some. But will try to finish these pgs in 2 or 3 days!
Hope they aren't too boring. And I fear whether or not I am characterizing Childe well and if his actions and emotions are justified. I will always reiterate, writing is not my strong suit. That being said, dialogue for these pages subject to change (they didnt lol). Also, do the bubbles read well? Or is it confusing which bubble to read next?
Last but not least, aiming for around the 10th for the next rough draft for the sniper comic

I agree with Pretty Kitty and Aterin: Your story is coming off very clearly and enjoyably! You can see both ZL's disguise slipping and CH getting more and more frustrated and pissed with ZL, ESPECIALLY with CH's sneer in the 3rd to last panel on the second page. Those squinted eyes, that pulled back upper lip, CH is *livid* and wants an explanation *yesterday*.

I like how we as the reader get to see ZL slowly losing control of his human form. I mean the point ears are not hidden any more

i think overall it translates well! youβre a lot better at putting together the story then you think, i am excited for the progress

As the others have said: ZL, there's no hiding from CH once his stalker tendencies kick in. As for the bubbles and boxes they read perfectly clear and flowed naturally

Omg Zhongli really tries to avoid this confrontation - should have known better than to provoke Childe's stalker tendencies. Ahaha, and I can't wait for him to snap!! xD

Childe stalker mode: activate! The way Zhongli was running tho π I love how Childe is taking actions and confronting him, and his serious look, but I have a feeling it won't last for long and maybe a certain dragon will pounce on him π«£

Looking forward to seeing this finished! The bubbles are good, the only ones I'm not always sure how to read is if there's one near the top of a panel that crosses into another panel, but after I read it, it becomes pretty obvious if it's transition text or not

Aaah can't wait to see these fully finished! Excited for the next part π Bubbles also read well! Most will automatically read left to right, so I guess so long as it's clear it's fine (usually just a "L->R" somewhere is enough imo)
