I think you worded your criticism on Julia Fox with the whole Balenciaga situation really well Shannon!! I definitely agree with you. I thought she handled the criticism on dating Kanye also very poorly (dating him to ‘get him off Kim’s case’? Saying he hadn’t done anything really bad at that point? Are you kidding me?) I thought it was also quite frustrating that many (mainly) black people (mainly women) voiced their criticism on tiktok and instead of engaging or just taking some responsibility for her own choices and actions she deleted the videos altogether and - next thing you know - posts a video about discrimination/diversity and nepotism in the modeling world I believe? Idk, at that point it all felt very performative for me. It feels like she tries to come across as very authentic and feminist but with all the ‘what about’-isms and ‘it’s a male problem!¡!’ without going into some/any complexities of serious phenomenon it all just… falls very flat for me
