Aside from that one blind, you never hear or see Sophie drunk in public (remember when Kit Harington was papped drunk multiple times? That was never Sophie). That doesn't mean she couldn't have a drinking problem but we would've seen alot more blinds if it were true.

I'm not English but I'm Irish and the drinking culture is pretty similar. Obviously I have no idea, she could have a drinking problem and the way we drink is definitely not healthy it's technically binge drinking. But I can confirm that the way she talks about alcohol is normal here and wouldn't be setting off any alarm bells. Not saying that's a good thing haha but yeah. As an American that works (and therefore drinks) with a lot of Brits and I think both drinking cultures read as dysfunctional to the other, but the Brits handle their alcohol better and have more of a right to feel that way IMO

As an American who is now living in England, it's definitely a British thing regarding alcohol. There's a HUGE drinking culture here, and I know my alcohol tolerance is much higher than my friends back in the US because of living here for the past 5 years lol.

As a Brit, it’s defo being British rather than being an alcoholic. For better or worse, binge drinking is the norm so I struggle to believe it when American sources say British celebs have drinking problems 😂

I always have found it interesting when couples, celebrities or not say that have tried all options to salvage the marriage. Reminds me of Kim kardashian where a big part was her not wanting to move to his hometown, even for part of the year. Same with joe not moving to the uk.
