Regarding global warming, it’s a thinning of the atmosphere layers so more extreme temperatures (volatility) happens. Yes it’s poorly marketed, but yes it’s a good litmus test for internet bros who immediately like to go to “look there’s snow” as a climate change rebuttal

I've been to the Stanley Hotel (I went over Halloween in 22) and it's a little freaky but MOST of the spirits in Stanley Hotel are chill asf. They mostly just vibe. I went on the ghost tour and the only one that made me feel uncomfortable was in a space guests can ONLY visit on the tour. I literally had a mini panic attack in the room but the rest of them were hella chill and didn't bother anyone. 😅 But if you're worried about staying the night, do the ghost tour! It's super fun! Some other people on the tour got pictures with something behind me. 😅

Speaking of insect-borne parasites and worms, I beg you to look up guinea worm disease or leishmaniasis (really any parasitic infections that are found in Africa). They are horrific. There is no treatment for guinea worm disease. You have to pull the worm from your body and it can be as long as a meter. They take a small stick, wrap the part of the worm that's sticking out of your body around the stick and twist it a little bit everyday until the entire worm comes out. It can take WEEKS to get it out. So there are people running around with little sticks hanging from their leg with a worm wrapped around it 😖 nightmare fuel. Thankfully, guinea worm disease is well on its way to being eradicated.

Global warming was actually rebranded as climate change in the media bc people without scientific backgrounds didn't understand that global warming doesn't mean that it will never be cold again. But climate change deniers still use that to "prove" they are right. "If global warming exists, why is it cold in January??" A real gotcha moment in their minds 😂

Shannon, did you watch Antphrodite’s reading about the Miami sitch? He seemed pretty certain it wasn't aliens but more like a sensationalized story for clickbait revenue. He did point out he foresees a a spike in alien-related claims early this year too… Butttt, I watched the testimony you linked in the show notes, and the guy came across as quite convincing. Still, I'm inclined to trust Ant over a random person. So why would someone create a fake testimonial like that?? 😩 Also, I noticed the guy's TikTok account is full of conspiracy content, especially about paranormal and UFOs. Maybe his desire to witness something like that led him to convince himself it was real?? It's kinda maddening trying to figure out if Ant’s off the mark or if the guy's just an eerily good liar. Lol But I think I’m trusting Ant’s read.

Petra doesn’t follow Taylor’s regular account, but is known to have been close with Selena throughout the years. She also has worked with Olivia Rodrigo A LOT, so i dont think if Taylor and Olivia have a problem, Taylor would allow Petra in to be one of her 19 followers on that account. That account is definitely someone important, but i dont think it is Taylor. Need to know more about who the 17 other followers are besides Jack and Petra.

On the Miami Aliens thing, when ppl started fleeing the mall, ppl called in reports of gunfire/active shooter. FL has been under high alert for a terrorist attack for the last couple months, I think that’s also why the response was so intense so fast. You’ve got a popular mall, full of people, and now everyone’s running, screaming, confused, calling 911. I don’t know if it really was just some hooligan behavior, maybe something more did happen, but I personally don’t think aliens pulled up to a random mall in Miami 😅
