If you listen to Renee Rapp explain this experience, you’d understand how serious it was. It’s two very different statements to say “I was on drugs”, and “I was drugged”. It was a very traumatic experience for her, because she doesn’t know what happened majority of that night. She believes something more, as you would say, “nefarious” happened, but is not sure. She doesn’t go to into detail because you can tell that she is still very traumatized by the situation. I think that should be respected

To the Renee Rapp “drugged” comment, I could actually see this being complicated based on my own experience. Cw for drugs and r*pe mention . . . I had a party phase after a breakup that ended the same way (realizing these people don’t give a shit about me or anyone, being resentful and walking away). I was doing hella drugs during that time but also had blackouts that were not necessarily fully explained by what I chose to do. Later found out the person i was romantically involved with in the group was accused of date raping multiple people- I had no proof and it could have just been due to what I was doing, but there is a real possibility I was also given stuff without knowledge or consent. Tldr, a vague “drugged” or “drugged out” is how I may describe my state during that time 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've had similar chats with my friend where we determined that if I spam her too much, she only really need respond to like the most recent stuff. so I don't feel like I am censoring myself, and she doesn't feel like I'm pressuring her. these types of internal bounderies rather than enforcing changes on the other person really work for us.

I’ve been a fan of her for a couple of years so got some Reneé thoughts: 1) she was defffo dating Alissa! Think it was rocky when she went on tour and looks like they broke up in October? I also saw some girls on Twitter saying they saw her kissing her guitarist Towa Bird in a club, so general speculation is she left Alissa for Towa. 2) I deffo do find myself rolling my eyes at some interviews but I think she’s just a bit of a troll too. like people taking her “ageist” comment way too seriously, I saw some middle aged panelists going off about it lol, so after that she posted on her spam account a selfie captioned “ I ❤️ millennial women!!!!”. So things like that and her “court ordered media training” comment on snl where she steers into the skid I think will stop her from being ‘cancelled’ because she’s self aware? 3) my impression of that last interview was that she was partying a lot and doing drugs but in that instance was drugged by someone- I also took the “blood on her pants” comment as an implication that she might have been assaulted 😬
