My two cents is she probably won’t do an album, since she’s found what is working for her so well (in general but also brand-wise). If anything I could see her going towards directing or producing if she’s not already. Also mom theory- since my mom has started smoking oui’d and getting more piercings in recent years- once your kids are grown and doing their own thing, there’s less pressure to model what you want for them, and you may even do that young adult self exploration thing alongside of them since your focus is more on you for the first time in decades

You mentioned the miley cyrus dog movie Bolt and I just HAVE to share that when that movie came out I was like 8 or 9 and on a Disney cruise and they were showing Bolt in their theater. A few minutes into the movie, the kid sitting behind me vomited. On me. They had to shut the theater down to clean it and I think my family was offered a private screening of the movie later or something cuz they felt bad but I have no idea if that actually happened because the only memory I’ll ever associate with that movie is how woe-is-me-main-character i felt being the one in the theater who’d been Chosen (to be thrown up on).

Lol coming back to write this more coherently but I think casting zendaya as Moana would be missing the point. Casting her as cinderalla, sleeping beauty, Alice in wonderland even, where the culture isn’t part of the character would be fine, but Moana being the one PI character it would be weird to not cast a PI actress in that role 😅
