Currently listening and the way I am getting mad (and I'm at work) at people for calling Shannon out for absolutely no good reason. Some people just love to hate and honestly I think they do it for clout. As for what happened in your personal life: Don't blame yourself, Shannon. And this is coming from someone who was in a similar situation as you, but I was the wife. Took me 4 years to finally feel like myself again. Healing takes time.

He had an invited co host on his podcast, then they had a relationship where he helped her with their children, I think they have some disability, but during the relationship she finds out that he is married and in the process of discovering who Enty really was (he also had children) he puts a restring order on her. restraining order and she tells her story and all this manipulation like the abuse she suffered from enty

I’m sooooo happy I randomly joined your patreon (after listening to the free podcast for years) today and was able to hear this. I’d listened to drenched-n-drama when they first released their podcast and was shocked and immediately thought about you as I remembered you had co-hosted w him. You did nothing wrong. And I’m really saddened to hear how Cassandra had treated you in the midst of this. Yes she’s a victim but turning on other women and lashing out in bullying behaviour isn’t the answer. I hope she finds healing and resolution and I hope you keep being the honest, compelling, wonderful human you are. It’s the reason youve earned the success you have!🫶

This might sound FUCKED but the pattern of all Casandra’s stuff reminds me of internet scammers. Like I believe her but the pattern is eerily similar to when you don’t respond to a scammer. Like why is she going after Shanon when she was not involved with Enty, especially when Cam was arguably closer with him. If I went on the totally extreme side of it, it feels more calculated than I’d want to admit.

Second, and maybe I’m speaking from a place of ignorance and missing something, but how in the world is any of their “relationship” your problem? Like I get you have a platform but getting a dm that says “help me - I’m scared” is extremely disconcerting. Abused people abuse people & if we address the purple elephant, she was sputtering out of control from a place of abuse. We can empathize with her but at the end of the day, that’s not your responsibility. Like I sat there listening and was completely baffled that she twisted the rhetoric to make this YOUR fault. That’s so fucked & honestly I wish someone would go on your defense. From the get go she didn’t even ask for a platform but just wanted to — honestly idk what she wanted. the victim is making false claims about shannon’s character and trying to bring her into a situation that she never asked to be in. it could hurt her livelihood. they both said in the ep that they believe cassandra and that the video clips weren’t there as a “gotcha” but to dispel the stuff against shannon if you were shannon why wouldn’t you defend yourself ?

Great episode. You can’t reason with the unreasonable, I think this was explained really well in this conversation. You’re not the enemy Shannon. I think the problem here is that she’s clearly very hurt and that’s understandable. It’s an issue when she’s directing this towards you, also publicly in a defamatory way. I also listened to all the (free) drenched in drama eps and part of me does feel like the exposé was meant to be a jumping off point. I also don’t think it’s a bitchy move to say it’s not my situation/problem what do you expect me to do?? No one else can fight this fight for her and the jumping down people’s throats to try and have them constantly share isn’t helping anything. It's hard for me to dislike Enty just because he had an affair. Of course I think it is wrong but it's not like his podcast is on having morals and a healthy marriage. What he does in his private life is not any of my biz. As far as the abuse allegations. I listened to some of drenched in drama and it seemed like a his word against her word situatiom. Normally I always side with the woman but in this case it sounded like she was airing dirty laundry, could have left him when she found out he was married but didn't. She wasn't his mistress at first but stayed with him after she found out so yes she was. Curious how he abused her children? All I heard was she pulled them out of school because she trusted his word that they would move to a different area but then he broke their trust and it was too late because she already pulled her kids out and couldn't get them back into the school? Is that abuse though? Or just being a really shitty person? Cass aggressively tagging Shannon and the way she acted seemed like bullying. Edit- I dislike what he did but that's really his life and business. I feel like if i stopped consuming content from people who have been in an affair or have been emotionally abusive or even a horrible person that'd be cutting out a lot more celebs. We don't shun movie stars or musicians like that.

You guys are spot on with the power dynamic of an older man with a young girl… while I prefer older men, I (very) briefly dated a guy 15 years older than me. I was spending the night once & his personality completely changed mid-date. He started screaming & became verbally abusive - his size & energy made it clear that I was not physically safe to leave until the next morning. When you mentioned how your ex laughed, it reminded me of the sudden switch to literal evil. They really do prey on how trusting younger women can be.
