I studied water management at university and my lecturer told me that men are indirectly consuming oestrogen because so many women are on birth control now that there are just overall higher levels of it in our waste products and during water treatment the oestrogen is too small the be caught by modern water treatment so when men drink it water they are essentially micro dosing on oestrogen over long periods of time. It’s also massively affected fish in areas where waste water is discharged into water bodies.
