LOVED this deep dive- this topic is so fascinating! I’ve been wondering for quite some time now, just how Furries and Bronies became such a strong culture. Especially Bronies. I’m so curious as to why that spoke to so many men and how it got such a massive subculture. It’s really cool to see men embracing MLP like that. Can’t wait for that episode!

My friend is a detective and went undercover at a furry convention to catch sex offenders traveling outside their probation guidelines. Apparently a lot of sex offenders attend these things 😬

I live in Grand Rapids Michigan and it is in fact true that public schools are dealing with furry culture. Meowing, barking, hissing at teachers, using litter boxes on the bathrooms, etc. it’s TRUE

When I was in high school in the early 10s we had a group of kids that wore tails, collars, and ear headbands and they would hang out in the corner beneath the stairs all laying on top of each other! This was in a smallish town in northern Colorado
