🕑 Added 2025-02-28 07:00:06 +0000 UTCHello, hello! The Oscars are on Sunday and I'll be having another live Patreon community chat for it on the day of right here. (I still need to watch The Substance and Anora before Sunday!) but for today, we are covering:

I remember you advertising “the seed” probiotic supplement. Do you still recommend or have good results from it ??

In my job, I have to create training materials for my team and I like to use multiple color fonts and styles to keep my team visually engaged in the content.

I loved this episode and I feel like you brought up such a valid point. So many celebrities that are accused of performing “humiliation rituals” don’t increase their star power and does not benefit their career. I just think celebrities are so out of touch and do crazy things that an average person finds humiliating but they view it as taking a fashion risk or something.

can’t remember if this is the same episode where you talked about pottery classes but yes they are that expensive everywhere :((

Loved this episode! I’m doing a neuroscience dissertation to do with the gut brain axis (in relation to multiple sclerosis). Idk how you do your research but I have a bunch of articles downloaded you’d like that are normally paywalled if u want them!

You're so welcome. I'm really into supplements too, but newer to the amino acids. I just read l tyrosine helps with motivation and to replace dopamine and other brain chemicals that have been depleted from stimulants. Good luck. I hope the NAC works for you. It's definitely worth a try. It has a short half life and leaves the body fairly quickly so I take it 2x a day.

I mostly blue or green ink for note taking!! If i use black, i color code my notes w highlighters/an accent color pen. Glitter gel pens are also good for adding accents, you can underline or leave extra notes in the margins for yourself in a fun color

Loved this ep! The Stuff You Should Know podcast has a great ep about the brain-gut connection too! :)

Lol the cancellation thing makes me think of Whitney Cummings begging to be cancelled on her podcast cause she thinks it’ll work well for her 🙄 I’ve heard more talk about forms of rehabilitating rapist and people who have done similar or worse crimes and it often has me rolling my eyes like the work is on the person to change! They shouldn’t get progress points either

*deep sigh* I’m about to hyperfixate on my gut health *cracks knuckles*

I’m in nursing school and my professor (who has worked in behavioral health for 15+ years) said the first thing they prescribe is pre and probiotics. And you’re right! 95% of our serotonin is stored and made in the gut!!! Without good bacteria we aren’t able to use it, thus pre/probiotics ◡̈ super interesting!!!

Loved this episode! There’s a cheap version of pottery which is dry clay 😅 not the same results but keeps my mind busy for a couple of hours

Unlearning Shame by Devon Price! (Might also be of interest to autistic folks)

This is super interesting, thanks for sharing. I truly haven’t even heard of NAC supplements and I consider myself fairly “supplement-knowledgeable” so idk haha. I have had food noise my whole life until getting diagnosed with ADHD a few months ago and starting meds. Now I’m interested in possibly adding NAC to my daily routine.

“No no no, we flew ourselves out.” Love it 😘🤣

Her older videos are good. She lost her son a couple years ago and her readings took a hit. She just seemed unstable and things she would say were suuuper out there. I mean that in the nicest way

This was a really great one I think all this information is scientific. Dying to know what a mouse version of schizophrenia is like.

It's SO expensive!! We looked into it and horseback riding around here is cheaper, which is saying something lol
Shannon McNamara
I don't! She's a youtube psychic right? Would you suggest?
Emili Van Volkinburg
Dude pottery is so expensive for no reason, it’s my favorite art hobby but genuinely so unaffordable. I would love to just make my own little studio one day and have a wheel and small kiln
Nina
Do you watch Sloan Bella? That’s the first time I heard about humiliation rituals.
Angela
You're welcome! Us floozies gotta help each other out. ❤️

I’ve been hearing about NAC supplements! I need to learn more about them. Ty for sharing!!

The gut is so important. There is also a skin-gut axis and I am living proof. I've had really nice skin and hair my whole life until I started having gut issues. I got colitis and think I have IBD, but before there were even many symptoms of any of this I started losing my hair and my skin went to hell. Also Shannon NAC supplements which I started taking for my skin was a game changer for obsessive behaviors.. including food noise. I want to share this info with anyone, because it changed my life. It can even benefit people on the spectrum with ADHD and autism.

Love me a conspiracy ep !!!

Ohhh yes excited for the humiliation ritual section
