Just to give a context about the dark skinned comment. I think it’s indicating more on the societal status rather than race. So Yechan having dark-skinned is more of her saying he’s always exposed to the sun hence having a darker skin tone indicating that they are more on the “marginalized”, labor lifestyle side of the society. And having fairer, paler skin means you’re more indoors and in the “rich”, city lifestyle. So don’t dig too much into it. I think that applies to all asian norms. 🤷🏻♂️
