Quick EmuDeck SteamOS unstable update
🕑 Added 2024-08-22 21:51:20 +0000 UTCHello there!
I've pushed an update with the following changes in the unstable branch:
CloudSync error handling improvements
Added an error message if CloudSync can't get activated when launching a game
Added another error message if internet connection is not detected.
CloudServices Manager - Now with Apps
Bottles, Flatseal, Lutris & Warehouse can now be added to gaming mode.
Just open EmuDeck unstable to get the new backend rebuilt with these new features
Some other stuff:
EmuDeck Machine
The hardware selection has already been finalized! I'm now just looking for hardware providers and a prototype has been sent to the company that's going to create the shells, the Indiegogo launch is near!
EmuDeck macOS
I've decided to split the macOS code from the SteamOS code, the Mac shares 90% of the code with SteamOS but it's that 10% that keeps making it hard to port. Expect a working beta in the coming weeks.
Till next time!

I have a KT-R1 portable (small device that can play GC and PS2 games) but, it's android based, got ES-DE installed on it but, cloud sync would be a dream on this device. I don't use it much because needing to re-start games.... If you have something to play with, feel free to drop me a DM

Not that I have tried my self, but the first thing that comes to mind would be Symbolic Links in windows.

Thank you! Any progress on making emudeck and cloudsync work on Windows on a different drive than the C:/ or any workaround you recommend?

Thanks for the update, any idea on Android cloud sync? Could I do it with a 3rd party tool and get all apps to look there for saves?
