EmuDeck 2.3.2 Unstable Windows - New features
🕑 Added 2024-10-18 08:09:27 +0000 UTCHi everybody, I'm starting to port the rest of features of the Linux/SteamOS version to Windows.
Today I bring you on the unstable branch:
CHD Compressor - Lossless Compression for your games for Disc based systems like PlayStation, GameCube, etc. Up to 60% less space!
Automatic Games & BIOS Importer - This tool prepares an USB drive so you can just copy there your games and import them with just a couple of clicks.
Both this features are in beta so please report any issue you might find!
More missing features coming soon!

PS1, PS2, PSVITA games don't work, the emulator doesn't start the game, in rog ally, what to do, I can't configure CEMU or the Nitendo Swicht emulator, please help. Can anyone provide support or help please

how do l get my ps2 games running through steam rom manger? Every time I try to run any ps2 game, it wouldn’t work. And the pcsx2 application won’t load up. Hope there a update to fix this error

on ESDE? no changes. On SRM?yes you need to add the games again

you can just copy the downloaded_media folder to the bazitte installation, no need to re scrape again

I'm getting a message saying that powershell is not being recognized as an internal or external comand, operable program, or batch file when trying to run the compression tool

If we install bazzite and we already have ESDE on windows on our SD card will we have to go though this all over again or will bazzite automatically recognize it?

Controls are auto configured, since Yuzu is no longer available, you need to manually go to Manage emulators -> Yuzu and reset it's configuration.

I think we can already consider the Windows port out of beta, it's not even labeled like that anymore in the website :). The Windows version is still missing these features: - Install to custom path - Migrate Installation - Model 2 & 3 Emulators - BigPemu Emulator - CloudServices - RetroLibrary - EmuDecky

Please add cemuhook options for Windows and Bazzite users, too. I’m asking because I still don’t know how controlls and motion are set per emulator and how to launch emulators properly. Do we launch emulators through Steam or through ESDE? Do we have to launch an emulator and set the controls per emulator (I am asking this specifically since in ROG Ally X after launching Yuzu I still need to go to setting and manually set the controller to ‘Xbox’ from ‘Any’ and to ‘Steam’ from ‘Any’ on Bazzite and Steam Deck)?

Great to see more work on the Windows version! Out of curiosity, what do you think is left to add before you'd consider it out of the Beta stages? Really think this could be the very best emulation solution on PC, it's replaced even Launchbox for me.

The argument 'D:\Emulation\tools/chdconv/chddeck.ps1' to the -File parameter does not exist. Provide the path to an existing '.ps1' file as an argument to the -File parameter.
