They've only been in atmo for four weeks, but the force that dropped in battalion strength is now nothing but an under strength company. None of the casualties are wounded or captured, either; the nature of the foe is such that there are no wounded, only KIA, many took their own lives to avoid capture, and for those that lacked the conviction to do so their own suits handled it, terminating their wearers with extreme prejudice. It had been a mercy in every case - the life of a captured breeder is nothing more than a few weeks of unimaginable agony followed by a grisly and painful death. Neither of these girls harbors any illusions - with an average operational casualty rate of around 66% their chances of being a couple after today's action are slim to none, and so they take this chance to say goodbye to each other, and to themselves...
