Gay Archetypes 2.1
🕑 Added 2024-02-25 19:22:09 +0000 UTC- Fixed CAS Preferences not sticking.
-Removed all Action Loots which add traits from other mods. Now WW traits will no longer be automatically added by my traits, and Nisa's Wicked Perversions no longer required for this mod to function (although still needed for the Rent Boy trait.) WW and Basemental is still needed for all of the lot traits to function properly. As a result I have removed the Gay Archetypes Settings preference category since
almost all of those preferences were in relation to adding traits from other mods, and moved realistic bottoming to the regular Gay Archetypes preference category.
-Reworked the regular Gay Archetypes preference to be clearer and less adherent to the gender binary. The Masc or Fem preference has been split off into Being Masculine and Being Feminine Preferences, Attracted to Masculine Or Feminine Sims again split off into their own, Dom and Sub split off into Being Dominant and Being Submissive. I removed the kinky preference, since "liking" either being dominant or being submissive now adds it automatically. These also function to turn off things like gender presentation traits and the kinky trait from being adjusted automatically by simply selecting dislike to both in the same category. Top or Bottom is a single preference since it's still a trinary switch ingame (top/Bottom or both) so for making a ver sim you simply leave that prefence blank.
- Added a Leather preference which functions like other fashion preferences ingame, and also allows you to add the leather trait to sims since my leather detection test seems to have stopped working.
- Removed the in game tracking of "Attraction" traits, since now the preferences serve that purpose and use the "compatibility" system from Growing Together.
- Added a Gayborhood Lot type which can be added to any lot and functions to filter out straight men and women from appearing. When added to community lots, will spawn various gay archetypes such as twinks, bears, jocks and drag queens.
- Renamed the Gay Gym lot trait to Bathhouse since that is closer to the intended function of the trait. Currently it is still only available for gyms although I plan on adding it to the spa day venues in future update as well as crafting the venue situation to more closely resemble bathhouses.
- Updated the "Cooking For Your Dom" and "Entertaining You Dom" social events to function properly. They had been the last thing added in the previous release and were quite unpolished.

Has this mod stopped being updated? I have Muscle Worship, and the features do not carry over. Should I add both mods to my mod folder to notice the difference?

also i dont know if you see my message about the muscle worship mod for some reason it was preventing any of my sims from cleaning up so had to remove it for now ;-)

the strange thing is its only happening on very few sims most are all fine and i couldnt figure out why only there odd few were getting messed up lol now if i see a sim acting funny i can just check them boxes and sort them out ;-)

erm im getting confused lol lack of brains lol so is the masculine, and feminine prefrance for both voice and walk style? so click red smily face on both and that will stop there voices and walks from changing?

Functionally that’s all those traits do besides some minor skill and need buffs and autonomy tweaks. So you wouldn’t necessarily be missing out on turning off the preferences. Also you can turn off one and not the other if a particular sim is not meant to be feminine

hmm but i want sims to be masculie and femanie but i dont want want there voices changing? they either go soooo deep or so high they sound alwfull lol cant there be an option to just not change your characters voice and walk style? so are them too choices are for both voice and walk stlye? Basicly i base my sims of real life gay porn stars so i have one who is quite butch and a chastity wearer but he likes to be dominated so dont want him having a feminine walk or a high pitched voice. if that makes scence lol

Those are the gender presentation traits that do that, so if you chose dislike on being masculine, and being feminine, it will prevent that from happening. You can find the preference in CAS under the personality panel and they can be edited at any time from the simology panel in live life.

what bits are they in prefrances to stop the voices changing and there walk styles dont know what ones to tick? do you have a list of what each prefrence dose in game so i know what ones to give a red tick too to stop there voices going funny and walk styles etc
