Tutorial: Tearing Vellum Grain - Part 1

In part 1 of this tutorial I will show you how to simulate a tearing jelly like mass using vellum grain. I'll show you what constraints you need and what gotcha to watch out for.
In part 2, I'll make some custom constraints and in part 3 I'll cover meshing the simulation. Part 4 will be for Patreon members only and I walk you through the Organic Rock setup to show you how I put the methods from the tutorials in to practice with a more production like setup.

Hey Lök! Yes that makes sense and you want it to break apart as well. I would suggest trying to fracture a tetrahedral softbody instead. You can break it apart as well but it will conserve it's mass a lot better that grain points.
Hey Jacob, love this tutorial, one thing I would like to do to my simulation is to make the grain look compress ( squeezes ) when the collider presses it. At the moment when the collider pressing down, my Gummy bear ( as in the candy) Its head seems to disappear ( I know the particles are being attracted to the surface) be I would like to see the whole model deform before being stretch... I hope I am making sense ... any pointer?
