We were too! We're a little frantic trying to rearrange our schedules as we had 5-6 upcoming Paramount films, but if we have some extra time, we'd love to get at least the full lengths up on Patreon for the rest of the Scream films :) -Sam

Sorry to hear about this. Yeah, I've noticed Paramount is extremely aggressive when it comes to copyright. I've learned to be extra careful with their stuff.

Unfortunately, these are manual claims, so the usual quick fixes to get past the algorithm won’t work here. But thank you very much! We’re brainstorming ideas for moving forward but for the immediate future, we will be avoiding all Paramount films.

Thanks for all the support! We really, really appreciate it. We’re disappointed as we’ve really enjoyed discussing movies with you all, but we’re hopeful! We did post an update on YouTube and linked our secondary channel. We’ll always provide updates here and cannot thank you all enough for the support you have given us through Patreon. That being said, we did round out to 9 claims and 1 strike since last night. 1 claim was removed and 1 claim dispute resulted in the strike. Because of that, we want to let you know that if the TBR Schmitt channel is removed, the last couple months worth of posts here will remain, but the older films will not. We have all the files - edited and raw - for everything we have ever filmed so we will get that all up ASAP to our backup channel and posted here. Damn.. and all that work editing.. for nothing. How about flipping the video in the youtube cut horizontally? Written text will be backwards but most movies don't focus on text anyway.

Surely though the channel would be unlikely to grow without YT edits bringing in new viewers. Would anyone subscribe to patreon channels without having first seen what the reactions are like?

MGM has been doing the same to the Fact Fiend Channel. It’s fair use you guys are literally using the clips for commentary and critique.

I’ve gotten to where I completely avoid the YT edits anyway of any Patreons I’m subscribed to because I’d rather watch the full reactions over the cut up stuff. If I were y’all I’d just use the YT channel for announcements and post-reviews , they can’t come at y’all for giving your opinions on what you’ve seen.
