I agree. We slowly see Terry Silver turning into the guy from "Karate Kid III". He knew that he was going to get that reaction from Daniel and it was clearly done to psychologically torture him. Kreese did the same thing with Johnny.

Johnny was in the wrong for challenging Daniel to a third match when Daniel was trying to discuss more important matters like Silver and Kreese. Johnny did EXACTLY what Silver and Kreese wanted which was for Johnny and Daniel to fight amongst themselves. Divide and conquer.

"It's like a Rocky montage!" XD Interestingly enough, that song that played while Johnny was training was from the Rocky IV soundtrack! It's called "Burning Heart". It plays in the movie when Rocky first goes to Russia.

I don't think Silver showed up just to apologise. He's a master of mental warfare, as shown in the movie. He probably knew by simply showing up at Miyagi-Do would be enough to send Daniel into a frenzy, and it did. Apologising was perhaps another mind game!
