It's sometimes forgotten that Kubrick directed Spartacus, which was lovingly restored a few years ago. Probably the best epic movie ever made, with the biggest stars of the day and the proverbial cast of thousands and NO CGI! Outside scenes are breathtaking.

Have you guys seen Inglorious Basterds?? Next to Pulp Fiction, it’s Tarantino’s best work. I actually watch it more than PF. Hateful Eight was ok. 🙂

Yes! It's very tentative but I do have Barry Lyndon scheduled in November! We're trying to see if we can squeeze Prey in somewhere though, so things may shift, but we absolutely want to explore more Kubrick! -Sam

I'd love to see Eyes Wide Shut one day. I know it's hated by a lot people (I was once one of them), but I've grown to love it. It's my favourite Kubrick.

I've mentioned these before but I really feel these two movies are PERFECT for yall, both starring Brad Pitt and Anthony Hopkins. In my opinion should be watched in order of release. And imo both masterpieces. Legends of the Fall (1994) Meet Joe Black (1998)

Robocop 2! One of my favorite things about this movie was the shock value. 80s/early 90s shock value is the best.

I just couldn't get into The Hateful Eight. I tried twice and I was just bored. Please, don't reply telling me I'm wrong. Robocop 2 is a film that I think is better than the reception it got when it was release. My family had the VHS and I think I might have watched it at least half a dozen times beginning to end. I had very few restrictions on what I could watch as a kid lol. Don't get me wrong, it's not a great film and it's definitely not as good as the first, but it's fun and some of the story appears to be a satire of sequels in general which is cool. Bonus if after watching it you can guess which scene was very disturbing and creepy to me as a 10 year old child and is forever burned into my memory!

I'm down for both films this week! I was actually wondering last night if you were gonna give Robocop 2 a shot! And I love The Hateful 8. I'm assuming you're just watching the movie and not the 4 hour, 4 episode extended cut Tarantino did later? 😁😁. Both are good, don't get me wrong.

The Netflix 4 part series cut is more intended for a rewatch though,also they would have to stop and start every 50 minutes to load the next episode,which means patreons would have to re sync up their copies several times every 50 minutes too

Best sticking with the version that everyone has seen and knows at 167 minutes,most people will have never seen the mini series that Netflix cut up and plenty will not even know it exists

Yeah, it turns out "Prey" takes the Predator movie back to its roots, when it was scary. It has better reviews than the original movie, which is very surprising.
