It wasn't a bad horror movie but remakes are a bit cringe by nature, I don't consider it part of the Evil Dead universe. I wish they cut 20% of the script and just made their own thing that was kind of an homage. It could have been a great "Twenty-somethings in a cabin summon demons by accident" horror movie on it's own. Gender switch is cringe, chainsaw spoiler is cringe. The gore is absolutely horrifying though. It's a good movie but it's not Evil Dead. Like if Next Karate Kid had buckets of blood and guts and no Miyagi.

LOL so we absolutely want to get to Indiana Jones and Top Gun, but our reasoning for holding off right now is the last 2 years, Paramount has done their thing at the end of November, so we're hesitant to put them up so close to the end of the year. They will be going up though! -Sam

Oh, this is terrific! "Rambo" is wonderful, but if you'd timed it a bit differently, you could have had "Rambo: Last Blood" for Halloween, because if it's not a horror movie, I've never seen one! But it's worth the wait, and I'm not complaining. I hope you both wear neck braces while watching "The Usual Suspects," because that movie will definitely turn your heads around! This'll be fun!

I am surprised, however, that it's taken this long for it to be watched on this channel! They've seen Interstellar (2014), right?

Great week, looking forward to it all! While the Kevin Spacey recommendations are coming in, I really hope you'll consider adding The Ref (1994) to your schedule in December. It's up there with my favourite Christmas films and I watch it every year. It's a great dark comedy that I think you'd love!

I love that the Usual Suspects has been parodied and inspired quite a few films and TV shows. I'm certain at some point it's been a flashback scene on Family Guy or something?

This is the one that will give a full on experience of what Rambo is capable of beccuse this one is by far the most realistic Rambo film ever made. He is still fighting for something in this movie but he displays violence and skills we've never seen before. Is it as good as First Blood it gave me the same feeling of First Blood, I would say this is definitely the best sequel hands down.

With Sopranos and Ash vs Evil Dead going at the same time, the movies can be anything at this point. But these two are great, Usual Suspects is classic, and in this Rambo movie Rambo is Not. Fucking. Around.

Excited for the Sopranos, of course, but Rambo is going to be a treat! I'm excited for your reaction to the Usual Suspects, even though I think the movie is a one trick pony. I'd love to see you guys tackle more Kevin Spacey material, like the Negotiator, A Time to Kill, Swimming With Sharks, and House of Cards.
