Essentially, imagine a small bomb-like device that explodes out a massive, densely-packed gas of caloric energy into the air. Anyone who inhales will basically have thousands of excess calories flooding their system, which their body will handle like it does any other excess source of calories: by storing it as fat cells in the body. It's a fancy way of saying "bomb that makes you fat"
