Another idea, you know the novella of "Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde"? Leo could use the twink side to seduce or fool his victims before showing his real self. He could also use it to hide from enemies like Quetzal or that Frost guy.

interesting idea, but like i said, Leo don't have family (not biological at least)

The second one reminds a bit on the Leo you drew before the change (the one with brown hair). You said once that he has no relatives left, but "old style" Leo and Twink Leo could be his younger brothers... (even its the same character)
