Personally I wouldn't go through with it since Jet canonically is the exact same when the devs envisioned him as a teen and there's been no attempts to age him up outside of removing a couple of numbers from a work-in-progress website. I'd wait for an official statement regarding but I ain't your boss so lol

Basically the Sega company decanonized the ages of Sonic Characters as it causes a lot of contraversy within the community and now everyone is allowed to thin freely of their ages, but the Sonic Community all agreed as long as they are REASONABLE (Like saying Cream is 8 or smt idk) then its ok in the books (just be careful with other people who still stick to the Canon ages of just tell them this and you'll be fine Booki ^^
