A galaxy in leo- NGC 3521
🕑 Added 2021-04-29 19:36:44 +0000 UTCThis is data captured by a fellow astrophotographer- Greg Turgeon. He was kind enough to share his data so I took a crack at processing it. This is a spiral galaxy, which has a distinct ghostly shell around it.

In EL5 how in the world does the original picture get processed into the final picture? Is the final picture actually what it looks like if I was close enough? How do you bring out such detail from such a dark picture? Genuinely curious. Looks great btw.
