I love Jhope's performance. I wish they could do better with the camera work. They pan away from the performance at the best parts. Side note and I may be whining a bit however I notice that a lot of Jimin's vocal parts the camera's pan away. I like to see him when he's hitting those high notes. Okay, I'm done...😀💜

They are holding MAMA at different venue throughout many SE Asia Countries different every year since 2010 and this year it is held in Osaka Japan. The company was founded in S. Korea in 1999 mainly for K-pop artists but later it included many Asian pop and now throughout Asia to international ones.

yes thanks Lauren to explaining it I knew it was created for BTS that legendary award and I am so proud of them. Yes you are right Jimin called Suga when they accepting the award but that was prepared and this Hobi just did it out of the blue eheheh they are too cute.

BTS members have been doing solo performances on huge stages before, the only different is that the members were there too to do the group songs as well as solo. So it helps them tremendously that they can do big event by themselves. This is an international award show so you have fans from all fandoms there of course it is big DT. So proud of Hobi and BTS.

I was handling the situation kind of fine during the 3 performances and almost all the speeches....but when Hoseok called Jin.... on that moment I cried, I understand the emotions that Hobi was trying to control and he is just and admirable person and artist, like you mentioned DT he just kill it on stage and there you can see the level of expertise and professionalism they have on their craft, 10 years have a weight at the end(I will say even more time if we consider the pre-debut years), thanks DT for the nice reaction 💜💫

MAMA's are in Japan, not Korea, but still a huge platform and Hobi totally owned it! So proud of him winning his individual award as well (Contribution to Culture & Society)-the group truly swept the awards and it was so wonderful that Hobi represented them all so well. Much love to him, but damn, he IS a performer beyond compare-such a talent, as they all are. Thanks for reacting, DT!

Hobi killed it ❤️❤️ The MAMA Platinum award was a new award. It's given to artists that have done a daesang sweep aka won all the 4 main categories of the year (AOTY, SOTY, ALOTY and Worldwide Icon(which is a category created bc of BTS' worldwide success)). BTS are the only ones that have done that and they've done it three times 😄 That's why he was talking about the daesang sweeps they've done and the memories flashing by. 😊 Oh and this is not the first time they made a call during an acceptance speech. They called Suga when he was recovering from surgery. But other than that, I've never seen it before either.
