We're Back!

For those that missed the action, this page was offline for about 5 days after having been hit by the adult content guidelines changes that Patreon made last week. In order to be reinstated we had to make changes to our public content and remove links to NSFW sites. This means that I've removed the links to the public demo, as well as the links to our blog and Tumblr. These can still be found via a simple Google search however. We also had to limit the nature of extreme content (images, links, and so forth) in paid posts. Ultimately it's pretty good news.
Naturally, this trajectory leads me to question the stability of Patreon for adult projects going forward, so we're going to make it a serious effort to come up with contingency strategies to maintain funding until project completion if the worst does eventually happen. This is probably a good time to point out that with five developers our expenses are running in the ballpark of $8000 a month (not including random things such as computer hardware), and this is without me taking any personal pay. It should suffice to say that funding is crucial for the survival of the project, so we will definitely be taking backup plans more seriously.
In the event that something does happen to the Patreon page down the road, I'll be backing up records each month so that I can still fulfill my end of the $20 uncensored retail version reward to those patrons that have met that requirement (in such an event, you'd receive a link to the game via email once it's completed).
Anyways, we'd be lying if we said this hasn't distracted us for the past few days, so we will likely need a couple of days to get an Inner Circle update ready to show off what we've been working on. It should be a pretty good one :D.

They haven't released a test version yet, in the year since the last release. You don't get more updated versions of the game at the $10 vs the $3 level.

So if i was to pledge at $10 level, how often do you release the test versions for people to try? And is there difference between say a full version release, and a test version?

From my point of view this whole changes patreon are pulling off are ridiculious. If they would serious care about our fetishes and preference they would handle that case differently. So, for me, they are scared from others (like goverements or "the general public shiststorm ...) but know how big this "not so mainstrem" adult business is and the money it comes with it. The only effect is, that as a support it will be more complicate to disguist the different project. (And if they really care about under legal age people they should just set proper guards for this.... - and all the other shall use common sense in their judgement9

I'm still considering Enty since it now has an English side. Supporters wouldn't have to fish through a Japanese UI. The real issue is payment processing for international developers, but I've been told by some Japanese developers that they are making it more accessible. Really though I'd open a Japanese bank account if it came down to it (whatever difficulties that may entail).

We're aware of enty and actually did some research... it's still too Japanese-centric, for both creators and supporters, but is apparently also slowly opening up to non-Japanese creators and supporters as well, so there's hope it will be a viable option one day, but we're not there yet. Thanks for suggestion though - much appreciated.
You could try Enty.jp, all sorts of really hentai-ish stuff going on there with lots of creators that would've easily breached Patreon's new rules. Only downside is that it's probably going to be all in Japanese, though some of their patron pages have the function for English translation - I'm not sure if clicking the English translation page actually gives you a proper English version of the page, or does it just kick in your browser's translator and give you semi-gibberish.

There's a site called hatreon.net, no I don't like the name all that much, would have preferred caretreon or something like that, but I have read through their Policies and they only take a 10 % cut (5% for transactions and 5% for themselves), and they really support free speech in their terms, so I would say they are worth a look even though there's some alt. right stuff and such. I won't mind supporting former Patreon adult creators on that site instead of Patreon. Hope Patreon come back to their senses but with paypal... the chances seems slim :(
