There's some bad One Piece filler (although, in my opinion, One Piece filler is, on average, better than filler in other series) but I also love this episode!

Rewatching this show with you, (like my third time 😅) I am realizing that in a SMALL way this filler episode kind of shows what One Piece is all about. Especially when Camu talks about leaving a dream for the kids to strive for at the very least, their sacrifice would not be their end because people truly die "when they are forgotten"

If you were wondering why those last two episodes felt disjointed from the main story it’s because they were filler. This sand section of the arc has a couple of filler episodes, they are not too bad so I wouldn’t necessarily skip them, but you should keep that in mind
