I fell behind, but I've finally caught up to you. So now that it doesn't really matter any more, I can tell you that you could have actually watched the first minute or so of the opening; the spoilers don't start until the drop.

Yes, Water 7 & Ennies Lobby belong together. In One Piece there are story arcs e.g. Orange Town, Syrup Village, Arlong Park, etc... and then there are sagas. A saga is a combination of arcs that all belong together because they reflect an enemy or a goal beyond just a single arc/island. So the East Blue saga contains all the arcs in East Blue because these arcs are about recruiting the main crew before entering the Grand Line. Afterward, all the arcs from Reverse Mountain until Alabasta belong to the Alabasta saga because during these arcs Vivi is part of the crew and the main goal is to take down Crocodile.

Yes! One Piece made Nerdy cry! ;) I was a teenager when I watched Water 7 and it made me cry so much. I wasn't prepared for such drama.

Even if the live action retains same levels of viewership, I think the increasing budget alone is enough discontinue the series (considering how crazy it can get), or alternatively they could try to lower the budget by cutting out even more characters/plot elements but at that point the quality of the show will probably decrease.

I hope you read this Nerdy... from a guy in a very far away land in the world... there's something so wholesome regarding your videos... I've seen your reactions to the live action, x-men and many other things... I want to watch water 7 once again (I saw it before), but I don't want to do it as well. Because looking it again through your observations and all... it's like watching it again for the first time. That's why I love your reactions.... It may sound dumb (I work offshore, I have zero contact with other people) but your reactions make me feel as I were seeing things for the first time again. Thanks again

I am absolutely sure The One Piece will be amazing, but the reason so many people absolutely love One Piece is the Toei adaptation. It has issues, and plenty of them, but when they ARE cooking... goddamn... I hope Wit finds a style that isn't only the newest iteration and not only the oldest, but a blend of the two. Animation wise like the newer stuff (minus some things), but feeling wise like the older art style..
