You don't spend 6 months looking for a flower that may or may not be extinct from the region, just to place it at one of probably dozens of statues commemorating a friend of yours...Frieren 140% had romantic feelings for Himmel, there's absolutely no way she doesn't. I know 6 months are probably nothing for her, but even so, girl was ready to stay there freaking forever if Fern didn't intervene.

Himmel also means Heaven. Heiter is often used for when the weather is sunny and it's also something said about people who are tipsy. Drunk in a light/fun way. It's interesting because Heiter is often accompanied by sunbeams or a sunny sky, and when he falls down and becomes bedridden it immediately is cloudy and starts to rain. They paid extra attention to tiny details like that.
