Jacob breaking down is one of the most refreshing and oddly comforting things. Like, the relief that… that it’s “normal” to care and be emotional over this shit! The fucking gaslighting- a few days ago, I unloaded to a chaplain Rabbi about everything (especially venting about the relative silence from my community, and how I’ve been somewhat shunned) and she (as politely as possible) basically told me she couldn’t relate to my experience, do I have anyone else I can talk to about all of this? How fucking invalidating. Anyone- feeling the pain and learning how to move thru it in healthy ways (like laughter and/or tears), rather than ignoring reality and/or doubling down on the unhinged-ness and coping via numbing- huge kudos and cheers to us. Thank you Jacob, and Matt and Daniel!

Wow this moment when Jacob starts crying is absolutely amazing. To put on a good face when everyone is pretending this thing isn't happening is so emotionally taxing. I totally felt that.
