I know what Thiel was trying to say. He’s saying that if you are unhappy with the healthcare system you need to “make an argument” about why the system should change and convince other people, rather than gunning down executives. It’s insidious because his class uses every non-democratic trick to keep the system the way it is, while people are unanimous that the system belongs in the trash. He knows the argument has already been made, and WE WON. It’s not a matter of convincing each other we need universal healthcare, it’s figuring out how to move the people with the actual power to do things.
