Part of the solution has to be open source tech solutions and not-for-profit companies. For-profit AI companies lost billions because one start up decided to offer the same product for free, showing the emperors were in their birthday clothes all along. Not-for-profit streaming service anyone?

The rent and healthcare example parallels with the use of AI to generate 'targets' for dropping bombs. It isn't just that it could get worse, it's that it is ALREADY killing people en masse, it's just at varying levels of terrifying depending on where you live. Even if you don't care about other humans you have to see that monstrous behaviour towards others always boomerangs back home.

Guys I love what you do and if you were demonetised, I'd probably give you some extra cash, but I would not go moaning to the Empire. So, the famous platform has a monopoly and gets "government goodies"? Since when does the government represent the people? I use social networks on the internet but I expect nothing from them.
