Supporter Exclusive: Sucking At Painting For One Hour
🕑 Added 2026-01-18 00:18:58 +0000 UTCI needed to make an oil painting of an AI-generated scene for an upcoming video, so I decided to film the process. It went really... really... really badly, and I should be ashamed of myself.
I need to make a bunch of exclusives. I have a list and I'll get it done.

Bilbo travels to the Lonely Mountain and Lake-town. The Dwarves had made a home in the Blue Mountains after losing Lonely Mountain (Erebor) to Smaug. Some Dwarves tried to return to Moira and were wiped out by the Balrog and orcs.

Bob Ross used Acrylic paint, which dries realy, realy fast. That is why he could quickly paint over a previous layer.

Painting kits never seems to have a decent balance of pigments. You’ll easily get through four times as much white as anything else, and probably twice as much black too

That was certainly... something. lol. I have absolutely no experience with oil paints, either, but it cracks me up that you went at it with questionable and scrounged supplies. 😃

I thought I saw the shadow of the top hat. Also why no yellow -blue? I don't want to hear any of that "it's impossible" crap! There's a video series of someone following Bob Ross tutorials und various stipulations, double speed, color-blind etc.
