In 4.5 billion years, we are only 100 years capable to use some form of wireless communication technology. If there is intelligent alien life, the odds our technological windows in time coincide are in my opinion slim, I wouldn't be surprised if it is close to zero. Let alone the incredible time a radio signal takes to travel interstellar.
