I'm taking a two pronged approach. 1) I've designed magnetic bases for curved and diagonal pieces to go along with those tiles. The magnets are only put on the edges that connect to the square tiles, but they are magnetic like any other piece. 2) I'm making multiple styles of curved/diagonal, so with curved, one where the base is cut so that the edge of the tile is convex, a second where it's concave and a third where the curved tile is sitting on a normal square base. Similarly with diagonal, you get one with the other side of the wall empty, and a second with a full square base underneath. I found #2 easier for people to work with then providing weird fill in the blank area floor tiles like I did with my prior set. As a note, I do plan on porting most openforge 1.0 tiles to 2.0, with the exception of those that simply put have no space for the magnets (I'm thinking Pool, sluice and deep sluice tiles).

I do have a question about the magnetic base system; How do you expect to support the "weird" tiles? The OpenForge 1.0 also has diagonal and circular walls, which add a lot of freedom in dungeon design, so I'd love to also have those with the magnetic base variant.
