That's great to hear! No need to rush at all. It'll be nice to have the option to tile the tatami mats in a more realistic/artistic fashion.

I've added a 2x1 openforge tatami floor under buildings/oriental_pagoda. I have not yet released anything on thingiverse because I want to come up with a solution for the edging that Evan put on the tiles. Unfortunately, I'm traveling today and tomorrow, so it'll be a little before I can look at it again.

Passed on to Evan, I'll relay his answer. From my perspective, I don't see a reason why not.

Now that is really cool looking!

Neat! Would it be possible to make bases that are 2x1 instead of 1x1? What I mean is a 2x1 base that is not composed of two textured squares, but of a single textured rectangle like these: https://www.google.co.jp/search?tbm=isch&source=hp&biw=1920&bih=947&ei=MqNOW_T8F4emoATe-6PQAg&btnG=Search&q=%E7%95%B3&oq=%E6%B1%9F%E6%88%B8%E6%99%82%E4%BB%A3%E3%80%80%E7%9D%80%E7%89%A9%E3%80%80%E5%A6%8A%E5%A8%A0&gs_l=img.3...1093.6895.0.7275.29.18.0.11.11.0.97.1246.16.16.0....0...1ac.1j4.64.img..2.17.1239.0..0j0i4k1.0.OqQpR33lcYQ That way the floors can be patterned more like the real thing.
